Nominations for Richland County's 2015-2016 Conservation Teacher and Principal of the Year will be accepted until April 8, 2016. Winners will receive cash prizes and be recognized at the District's annual banquet.
Trees are essential for the survival of humans and other organisms. Richland County K-12 students are invited to learn more about trees and the many ways they support life, then share their knowledge with the world in the form of a poster. Cash prizes will be awarded for winning entries. The entry deadline is April 8, 2016.
Two Richland County students have been awarded state recognitions in the “Local Heroes: Your Hardworking Pollinators” conservation poster contest, sponsored by the South Carolina Association of Conservation Districts.
