Pinewood Lake Park
Pinewood Lake Park is a scenic community park encompassing the 20-acre Pinewood Lake and 24 acres of surrounding mixed pine and hardwood forests. The park was opened in 2015 for the public to enjoy its cultural and natural resources. Pinewood Lake Park is a gateway to the heart of Lower Richland and a perfect place to experience serenity, peace, and quiet.
The public can experience the park’s unique rural character while enjoying outdoor recreation opportunities such as fishing, picnicking, birdwatching, and walking. Special park features include historic buildings, 0.4 miles of scenic walking trails, picnic shelters that can be rented for group gatherings, a pollinator demonstration garden, and exercise stations. Public restrooms and drinking fountains are available at the park.
