Building Board of Adjustment and Appeal
The Board was established under the building code ordinance, Richland County Code of Laws, and consists of seven members appointed by the Council for three-year terms. One member must come from each of the following industries: Architecture, Engineering, Contracting, Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Gas. Appeals to decisions made by the building official is referred to this Board by the Chief Building Inspector.
