Richland County will continue to provide up to two hours of free parking for the public visiting and doing business at the Richland County Administration Complex and the Health Department located at 2020 Hampton St.

Denise Barth, principal at Catawba Trail Elementary School in Richland County School District Two, has been named Richland County’s 2013 Conservation Principal of the Year by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD).

Please be aware that all retail sales tax rates in Richland County increased by one penny beginning Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

National County Government Month (NCGM) is celebrated each April by the
nation’s counties to raise public awareness and understanding about the roles
and responsibilities of county government.

Richland County Government continues to celebrate National County Government Month. On April 9, 2013, Richland County staff visited 4th, 5th and 6th graders from St. Martin de Porres Elementary School to teach them about the programs and services that the county offers.
