Park History

Pinewood Lake Park is named for a 20-acre impoundment called Pinewood Lake, which is fed by Mill Creek. The property used to be the site of a grist mill and was later used as a gathering location known as Caughman Pond. The property features barns and cabins that were built in the early 1900s.
