Richland County’s Transportation Penny Advisory Committee (TPAC) will deliver its first “State of the Penny” Annual Report Dec. 16.
The event starts at 6 p.m. and will be inside council chambers at the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton St. in Columbia.
County transportation director Rob Perry will deliver the update on the Transportation Penny. He will be followed by Bob Schneider, executive director of Central Midlands Transit, who will provide an update on The Comet.
Following these presentations, citizens will be able to ask questions and offer their input on items in a session moderated by Hayes Mizell, TPAC chairman.
The State of the Penny report follows a TPAC meeting that is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. inside the 4th floor conference room of the county administration building.
