Richland County Government facilities will operate on altered schedules in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.

County offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 3 and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 4.

The County’s C&D Landfill will be closed from Saturday, Jan. 1 through Monday. The Lower Richland Drop-off Center and Clemson Road Drop-off Recycling Site will be open through the weekend but will be closed Monday. Curbside trash collection will not be affected.

Richland County’s Jim Hamilton-L.B. Owens Airport will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. New Year’s Day.

While offices are closed, residents can access many services on the County’s website: www.richlandcountysc.gov, including those by the Auditor, Treasurer, Assessor and other offices.
