Richland County Council will host a virtual meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 7.
With County facilities closed in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, residents are encouraged to view the meeting online. It will be livestreamed on YouTube at http://ow.ly/v9nl50z7Mlu.
Council also encourages residents to participate during the citizens’ input and public hearing portions of the meeting. Those who wish to participate should email their comments to the Clerk of Council’s Office at covid19@richlandcountysc.gov. Residents should provide their name, physical address and email address when submitting comments.
Comments can also be submitted on the County’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Residents must submit comments by 6 p.m. in order for them to be read during the public comment portion of the meeting.
Prior to the full council meeting Tuesday, Council’s Detention Center Ad Hoc Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m.
