Following is a brief statement from County Administrator Leonardo Brown in reference to the Richland County Judicial Center:
“Out of an abundance of caution, and in communication with court Administration, a decision has been made to temporarily restrict access to the Judicial Center due to possible concerns of indirect exposure to the coronavirus.
“Though CDC guidelines caution against close contact, the restricted access is a precautionary measure to expedite cleaning of the facility.”
Brown also cited information from the guiding principles outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that state, “Each community is unique, and appropriate mitigation strategies will vary ... ” For more information, visit cdc.gov.
