Richland County has postponed the 2024 Transportation Penny Referendum Town Hall scheduled for tomorrow evening, Thursday 9/26 due to inclement weather possibilities created by Hurricane Helene.
Where: Doko Manor, 100 Alvina Hagood Circle, Blythewood
County Councilmembers Derrek Pugh and Gretchen D. Barron, along with staff from the County's Public Works Department, will discuss the County's Transportation Penny program and answer questions.
In this open format, speakers will give the nuts and bolts of the County's Transportation Penny program and answer attendees' questions.
The town hall is part of Richland County's efforts to expand dialogue on the Penny program and keep voters informed ahead of the November elections.
