Application
Columbia, SC--The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District will sponsor up to two Mini-Grants (up to $250 each) to support Richland County Eagle Scout candidates whose projects promote natural resources conservation or conservation education initiatives in the 2015-2016 school year. Proposed projects must be located in Richland County. The application deadline for consideration for fall funding is October 15, 2015; the deadline for consideration for spring funding is February 16, 2016. Projects must be completed within nine months of the award announcement. Click here to access the application. Conservation Districts are political subdivisions of state government under the local direction of five-member Boards of Commissioners. In South Carolina, Conservation District boundaries conform to County boundaries. The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District promotes the wise use of natural resources for the benefit of the citizens of Richland County.
