2009 Richland County Conservation Teacher of the Year

Mary Burts, Associate Commissioner of the Richland Conservation District (left) presented The Conservation Teacher of the Year Award to Todd Beasley (center) of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School for the elementary category and to Jeff Burden (right) from Hand Middle School in the Secondary category. Both of these fine teachers bring a great deal of enthusiasm and personal interest into teaching a hands¬on approach to environmental education.
