Richland 101 is a free, annual course
on the basics of Richland County Government
Richland 101 takes place for several weeks each spring with twice-a-week evening classes. Each class features different County departments and gives attendees insight into how tax dollars are used to provide services and programs to residents.
Classes take place at various County venues and speakers include elected officials and representatives from several County departments and offices, as well as Councilmembers and the County Administrator. The course culminates with a special graduation ceremony for participants.
