Topics will include High Tunnel Construction Details, Management Practices, Variety Selection, Planting Dates, and insights from organic grower Celia Barss. An afternoon field session will be held at Cabin Branch Organic Farm.

Presenters:
Celia Barss: Cabin Branch Organic Farm. Celia has been farming for over 15 years and is a graduate of the UC Santa Cruz organic program. She has managed farms in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and SC; mentored new farmers; been a featured presenter at Georgia Organics and SAAWG; and was named the 2014 Georgia Organic Land Steward of the Year.
Gena Moore: Organic Research Coordinator, Carolina Farm Stewardship Association. Gena launched CFSA's high tunnel program in 2016. She conducts research on high tunnel production and provides consulting services for farmers producing in high tunnels.
Dr. Brian Ward: Research Specialist, Clemson University Coastal Research and Education Center (CREC). Brian directs the Organic Research Farm at the CREC and is an organic specialist in crop rotations that benefit soils, grains and vegetables.
Kellee Melton: Assistant State Conservationist, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service. Kellee has been with the NRCS for 17 years and is a graduate of Clemson University. She currently manages the financial assistance and easements programs for SC.
