In 1986, Mark Schimmoeller decided to pursue his dream of opening up a Landscape Architect firm and successfully launched Southern Vistas, Inc. Clarrisa's Kitchen and Catering, LLC
Clarrisa Munford is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and has been cooking for over 10 years for special, big and small events. She fell in love with the art and experiences that cooking brought to both herself and her family. Food also serves as the foundation of all family or social gatherings.
God has blessed Clarrisa with a gift and the ability to accomplish something that she is deeply passionate about, and she wants to share her gift with the world. She is the owner of Clarrisa’s Kitchen and Catering, LLC located at 2501 Main Street in Columbia.
Clarrisa has attended numerous trainings to learn more about the food and beverage industry. She has successfully completed a blended of online and on-campus entrepreneurship courses with Cornell University in 2016 that was centered around food, beverage and hospitality.
Clarrisa is a disabled Army veteran that had to make a career change. She has completed several certifications to ensure her clients receive her best. Clarrisa’s Kitchen is a family run business with a few military friends that are like family, and they work as servers for the company’s special events. Clarrisa has been blissfully married for nearly 25 years to her loving husband James, a retired U.S. Army veteran. They have two adult daughters Jamesha, U.S. Army, and Clanesha currently a senior at the University of Alabama.
Clarrisa’s Kitchen and Catering, LLC is a certified Richland County Small Local Business Enterprise, a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
