What inspired you to serve on County Council?
The opportunity to give something back to the community and the fact I have the capability to give my constituents 100 percent unbiased representation in virtually all matters that come before council. I also know I have the ability to represent those in my district in a fair way.
What do you hope to accomplish for your district while serving on Richland County Council? Quality growth that brings a harmonious relationship between the citizens' desires to retain the ambiance of rural living as they know it and the business community's desire to expand into that same rural area. The needs and desires of both groups can be accomplished by coming to the table with a give and take attitude so that neither group appears to be the "bully".
What aspirations do you have for your tenure on County Council?
To be able to work in a professional way with integrity in order to make decisions based on the needs and the good of the community and not based on political orientation or special interest desires.
What strengths/abilities do you feel that you bring to County Council?
An honest, unbiased ability to review information presented which will allow me to arrive at sound, logical conclusions that will be in the best interest of the community I serve.
